French Manicure

Yasmin did an excellent job!!! I am keeping the 4-start review, but I feel it imperative to add to this and be transparent for the owner to get, hopefully, some valuable feedback. The technicians were professional, pleasant, and just nice girls!! The business seemed elegant from waist up. Beautiful. But that is where the “good” stops. The pedicure set up is not ideal. The tub basins are to the left and the girls sit on a tiny rolling stool to the right of the bowl (the clients right). The girls have your foot rest on their lap with a towel covering their lap. This must be painful for them with some people. Also when I needed to give my left leg to her, but keep the right in the bowl, it felt a bit more like a game of twister. The bench seat is not comfy or efficient. I am not too short (5’4) but to put my feet in the water I could not have my butt to the back of the bench. This makes for a sore back. And I know a lot of ladies shorter than I am. Also, the pedicure only went to the ankles. I have never had a pedicure go to the ankles. The scrub and lotion usually goes to the top of the calves. When we were leaving, there was water (some) from the pedicure to my right, when my flip flop hit that tiny spot it slipped. I did not fall, but that floor is super slippery when wet, so if the set up has to be that way, you might need to get slip resistant mats for the girls to sit on with their stools and that ways clients can walk with ease over any area that may have some water drips.
The median age in Bonita is 62. I am early 50’s. If these little things bothered me, it might not really set well for someone older.
I think this salon could thrive, given the right things for the clients and especially the staff! I hope it improves!!...more
